Ministries

Thank you for taking a look a the variety of ministries that TBC has to offer!

  • Sunday School – We use our Sunday school ministry to provide opportunities for our congregation to develop a foundation in God’s Word within a small group setting while cultivating Biblical relationships. The Sunday school ministry offers the following classes:
    • Children (age 2 – 6th grade; separated by age/grade and gender)
    • Teen Sunday School, 7th-12th grades, guys and girls combined
    • Adults & Ladies (female high school graduates – female senior adults)
    • Senior Adults (retired adults)
    • Spanish (children and adults; lesson presented in Spanish language)
  • Teen
    • In our teen ministry we seek to serve the unique needs of today’s pre-teens and teens, in the 7th through 12th grades, through sharing the Gospel and encouraging Christian growth as well as Christ-like fellowship. We challenge our pre-teens and teens to dig deeper into the Scriptures by memorizing God’s Word and utilizing available resources for personal study and growth. We also know how to have fun and therefore, regularly set aside time for good Christ-like fellowship.
  • Youth
    • Nursery – Our nursery care is available during regularly scheduled services for infants through toddlers 1 year of age. The nursery ministry seeks to provide a safe and nurturing environment for infants and toddlers while introducing them to Biblical truths during play, reading, and song times.
    • Junior Church – Designed specifically for children 2 years of age through 6th grade, our Junior Church ministry seeks to teach children Biblical truths through Bible lessons, Scripture memorization, puppet presentations, and an assortment of interactive activities.
    • Kids 4 Truth – K4T is a club ministry for children 3 years of age through 6th grade, that was designed to encourage, challenge, and develop an understanding related to 12 core doctrinal themes. We use K4T to encourage children to provide Biblical answers to today’s questions while backing up their answer with Scripture. We encourage each club member to complete workbooks, participate in internal and external service opportunities, and scheduled fun activities. (Club members are awarded patches in recognition of workbook achievement.)
  • Spanish Services – We have designed this ministry to reach our local Spanish-speaking community with the Word of God by conducting separate Sunday school and worship services in the Spanish language. These services include times of worship through song and preaching, as well as fellowship opportunities.
  • Additional Ministries
    • Missions – In addition to sharing the Gospel locally, we also seek to share it around the world. Through our missions outreach we support over 30 missionaries throughout the USA and around the world.
    • Music – We desire to honor and glorify God through vocal and instrumental music while presenting the truths of His Word to listeners. Our music ministry consists of an adult vocal choir, chimes choir, cantata presentations, and an assortment of vocal and/or instrumental specials.
    • Nursing Home – In an effort to meet the needs of our community, we designed this ministry to take the Gospel message to those residing at local nursing, senior living, and rehabilitation homes who may otherwise be unable to attend our regular services. During our visit at these various homes we present the Gospel message through preaching and music.
    • Fellowship, Outreach, and Personal Growth in Christ Opportunities – At TBC, we seek to encourage Biblical fellowship and personal growth in Christ through an assortment of activities to include, but not limited to, the following: Bible studies, Vacation Bible School, evangelistic and revival services, retreats, visitation, and fellowships.
    • Bus –  As an outreach to the local community, our bus ministry seeks to provide transportation to people who may otherwise be unable to attend the services. Transportation is available for children through senior adults living within Manassas.
    • Saturday Bread Distribution – On Saturdays from 9am-12pm, drop by the church to pick-up some free bread to include: loaves of wheat bread, bagels, hot dog and hamburger buns as well as some delicious sweet treats like donuts, cookies and cakes.
